Samsung Partnership with Love Island influencers

Worked on as the lead producer on the social partnership with Samsung and the hit TV show Love Island. The show ran for 6 weeks with episodes airing 6 days a week. This integrated campaign was phased with multiple physical and digital activations involving previous and current Love Island contestants.

Phase 1 - Partnership announcement

To announce the phone partnership with ITV’s Love Island, we partnered up with influencers Wes Nelson and Georgia Steel to be our ambassadors for the campaign. We brought a film crew to Spain and captured various content highlighting the features of the phone. We then packaged and worked with the influence to feature a mix of stills and videos to release alongside the show. During the series we hosted competitions on IG and Youtube Live watch parties where Wes and Georgia gave their live opinions of what was going on during the show.

Phase 2 - Reactive posting

Love Island’s has been a major cultural talking point nationally when the season begins. To be part of the conversation we helped produce reactive posts for Samsung that fell in line with what was happening on the show. Taking over the Samsung Twitter and Instagram channels, we posted announcements, hosted competitions, release exclusive photos and created videos with footage from the show. This involved reacting quickly (1-3 hours) with creating the content, feedback and approvals with the client and TV show.

 Phase 3 - Gifting

As the season was coming to a close, to increase awareness we onboarded 5 high end influencers to become ambassadors for Samsung. This involved gifting them with the latest Samsung devices and accessories while posting on their socials. This involved working with Amber Gill, Ovie Soko, Maura Higgins and Curtis Pritchard.
